Our town of Annecy in France has some quaint places, it's no more something that coud be kept secret indeed...😁
And to participate in this #MarketFriday established a few years ago by my beautiful friend @dswigle, I went to take pictures to show you the picturesque side of the market,
which takes place in an already very original place: the old town
Starting with these fruit stalls framed by the houses bordering the canal....
isn't that already charming and quite a poem in itself...? 😉

and of course, as spring starts (then recedes, then comes back 😅), there are obviously the stars of the moment :
flowers and plants,
daffodils and spring bulbs
those that make us want to call the sun and invite it to drink a tea by the lake....
It's hard to resist the urge and pleasure to plant new flowers, and yet, popular wisdom says that you have to wait until the Ice Saints before planting, at the risk of seeing the plants freeze...
Considering that it snowed again and was very cold last week while the cherry trees were in bloom, this is indeed wise advice for new plantings...

At the market, I also noticed these charming stands that move easily, such as this charming bicycle, in french we name that un triporteur but I didn't find a satisfying word other than scooter...
Here they sell artisan biscuits made with local products
and here, thanks to a light vehicle that can be found at other times in different parts of the city, you are served a coffee, tea or hot chocolate...
as well as below, in this small truck where an artisan roaster offers his coffee beans or ground,
and also offers them as a drink for sale which is always successful on the market where people like to meet around a cup of very good Coffee....
and now, as if everything we had seen so far was not original enough, I offer you this caravan in which you will find wines
it is called LES VINS CELESTES - celestial wines, and aims to be a nomadic cellar that offers you not only wines, but also emotion, conviviality and share (this is their slogan)....a whole tantalizing program , isn't it..? 😁
everyone enjoy the market, that day we even had a distinguished guest with this duck who came to shop anonymously😉
She came from the canal which flows just below this little bridge where some market stalls are spread out...

We are going to end this walk through the originalities of this market with this very pretty stand of syrups and jams made from natural products,
natural products which not only serve to decorate the stand but that particularly highlight the jams and jellies which contain all these good things...😍
Scots pine bud jellies with cane sugar and Spruce bud jellies
Jams of mountain rose hips
I wish you a wonderful week-end Lovelies !
