OCD DAILY - Issue #543

Welcome to the 543rd issue of @OCD Daily!

Issue #543 highlights content from six (6) Hive Content Creators! The OCD team continues its search throughout Hive to find you the undervalued gems, as provided by relatively new users.

Today our curators found six (6) new pieces of original content! We strive to find works that are created by newer Hive users, that may not have the audience with which to share their quality content. @OCD strives to help provide that audience and intends to showcase Hive users who put in the extra effort to create creative, original content.

The @OCD nomination process

A curator will FIND a piece of work (typically from newer users). Within 24 hours that piece has been submitted from the curator to the @OCD team, curator votes are tallied, and the pieces with the most votes are included in the compilation.

We encourage you to visit these blogs and show these great Hivers your support and encouragement.

If you enjoyed their work, give them a Follow or maybe even say Hello!

All of the content chosen by our curators is undervalued, but there is always one piece that rises to the top. That piece is universally appreciated and valued by our curators making it OCD’s Top Nomination of the Day.

Our top nomination of the day is from @letalis-laetitia

This short story by @letalis-laetitia is a beautiful and well crafted short story. They build the character of Jo, a thoughtful and introspective old lady living in the times after coronavirus. The story also addresses difficult subjects like someone choosing to go calmly into the great unknown. Suicide is such a taboo word, but this story shows the considered, yes sad, but ultimately sane choice of someone who has decided that life has written the final chapter to perfection. Anything more would ruin it all, just like so many epilogues do in my opinion. One of my favorites from The Ink Well

Our next nomination of the day is from @airmatti

@airmatti does an incredible acrylic artwork on a bark of wood, and it's a really beautiful portrayal of a scene from nature.

Our next nomination of the day is from @svdsdragunov

@svdsdragunov shares some of his beautiful artwork, and also ponders over his creative process and the amount of effort he spends on his illustrations.

Work title: Glant - Original artwork

Our next nomination of the day is from @carlgnash

@carlgnash’s 5 year son actually wrote this song and Carl recorded it. It’s called Star Warriors and it’s pretty awesome!

Star Warriors - original song WRITTEN BY MY FIVE YEAR OLD

Our next nomination of the day is from @roleerob

@roleerob provides a very thoughtful insight of his take on how Covid-19 has impacted USA and the possible consequences. Don't be put off by the length of the article as it touches on areas that impacts the likes of you and me.

COVID-19: "Post-COVID World," Losses Mount, and now "Phase Four?"

Our next nomination of the day is from @plantfuljourney

@plantfuljourney's mouthwatering wholemeal rye sourdough makes this reader want to stuff her face with bread. There's nothing more exciting than making one's own sourdough and smelling it fresh and warm out of the oven, that's for sure!

Way to go @svdsdragunov.

Up before 🌄 (here) @ocd / @livinguktaiwan, it was a wonderful blessing to see that my latest COVID-19 post had earned your support. Very encouraging! 👍

Yes, indeed, ...

"Don't be put off by the length of the article ..."

... as it is not my "strong suit" to write teeny, weeny posts ... Hahaha ... 😉

Seriously, it is a topic in these "unprecedented" times, which faced with the "unprecedented" speed from the news on the "other side of the world" into the lives of me and my family. And is currently actively causing "unprecedented" damage to the American economy ...

Thank you again for your kind review and support. May this find you and yours safe and well, in these troubling days!

You're welcome @roleerob, I'm just the delivery man (or woman) OCD are the supporters!!!

Stay safe.

Okay @livinguktaiwan ...

"... I'm just the delivery man (or woman) ..."

... I appreciate your humility. Speaks well of your character. 👍

Thank you for the "delivery!" 😉

Thank you so much @riverflows for nominating me! You made my day!

<3<3 thank you guys so so much! And a huge thank you to @raj808 who's community support is just invaluable!
