The paper doll in form of a funny cat (oil on paper)

in Sketchbook14 days ago

An happy Wednesday to you all!

Another warm day here, even if the sky is full of clouds. I'm having some busy days, cause the date of the wedding of my lovely daughter is just around the corner. To be honest, I have to do just a couple of little things because my daughter and her fiance did a lot of things just by themselves, but I'm so excited and I feel myself full of love and proud for them. The most important thing I have to do is to cook the Melanzane alla parmigiana (parmisan eggplants) for the party, while the mom of the fiance of my daughter will cook Lasagne and other things (she is a better cook than me, believe me! ^_^ ). I'm pretty sure it will be a wonderful wedding full of joy and the best thing is that they are really a lovely couple. ❤️❤️❤️

As you can understand, this week I don't have so much time to work on my artwork, but I decided to use my free time to work on some new paper doll similar to the ones I created years ago. In the following pic you can see the one I painted this morning about a funny cat;

I used my oil colors on a scrap of 300 gsm paper I cut in form of a cat and, like I use to do, I took some pics while I was painted this funny kitty so you can see the process too:

Soon I'll add this new artwork to my Etsy shop (link at the bottom)!

I hope you like it!
See ya soon and stay safe,
Silvia
