I'll be honest with you. I used to be one of those women who was very insecure about their face and whole body. Being beautiful is one of the most important aspects of living as some people will say.

When I was in my teenage years, I was bullied relentlessly by my classmates because they thought I resembled a bulldog. I recall the man who said that to me. And as a result of his hate comment towards me, I became very insecure about my appearance, believing that the reason people didn't pay attention to me was because I wasn't beautiful.
As time goes by, our skin features change and because of adolescence and hormonal changes, my classmates thought that I had made changes to my face. I could tell how much better I looked from a few years ago. But FYI, I never really had my face done and all I did was to follow some skin treatment using different facial products.

And now, I can say that I am really beautiful. But if there is a choice between these two; Beauty or Brain, I would choose being brainy. In today's world, everyone is becoming more accepting, and different types of skin features are becoming more standard. To summarize, everyone can now define what true beauty is. It is not important to me to be attractive in the eyes of others. People in my society are starting to admire women who are geniuses and know a lot about different things, based on what I see. I believe that people are liked not because of their appearance, but because of what they can do to make those around them proud.
For the record, I also asked my partner what he liked about me at first. He honestly told me that a woman's beauty is just a plus for him. But the first thing he looks for in a woman is how she respects herself, her moral values, and how she interacts with others. He considers the various types of women to be date-to-marry. In general, I could also state that some other guys still wants to be with a genius woman. So that's why for me, it is better to be brainy and have more pimples on your face than a smooth face, but know nothing about discovering a life or raising a family.
So the question is, am I the standard?
Without a doubt, YES! 💁
